NISA | Nordic International Studies Association is operating for over 25 years and aimed at supporting academic research and promotion of cooperation among academics specialised in the field of international studies in the Nordic countries.
The Executive Committee of the Nordic International Studies Association (NISA) is pleased to invite you to a reception during the ISA annual conference. To kick off the reception, we will have a panel discussion with the editors of a fresh off the press special issue of Global Studies Quarterly and the relatively new editors of the NISA journal Cooperation and Conflict. We have asked the editors to reflect together on the practice turn in IR and its particular anchoring in the Nordic region, before we open the floor for questions and comments from the audience.
The panel discussion will be short and sweet, keeping in mind that the prime intention with the NISA reception is meet over drinks and finger food to exchange views, to network, and to have fun.
Niklas Bremberg and Maïka Sondarjee (Special Issue co-editors with Emanuel Adler) – present GSQ special issue and practice agenda contribution of the SI)
Benjamin de Carvalho and Kristin Haugevik (Editors in Chief of CoCo – present editorial team’s thoughts on this topic and future priorities)
Q & A (10 min. or as long as people are interested)
Food, beverages, mingling, fun.
No registration is required for this event.
